**Position Description**
The Clinical Research Assistant will assist with the recruitment and testing of children and youth - with and without Lupus. An important aspect of the position will be assisting with the management of the project investigating the linguistic correlates of neuropsychiatric lupus in youth.
**Here's What You'll Get To Do:**
· Helping with the recruitment and testing of participants.
· Scheduling and organising research study appointments
· Completing post-testing tasks, such as updating databases, reimbursement for participants.
· Scoring neuropsychological assessments
· Providing information for research participants and their families
· Helping with the day-to-day running of study.
· Following established guidelines, procedures and standards.
· May provide supervision to junior lab staff.
**Here's What You'll Need:**
· A Bachelors or Masters degree in psychology, human neurosciences or equivalent appropriate degree.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
· Self-motivated, proactive, and have demonstrated excellence in organizing and prioritizing workflow in a fast paced and high-volume environment
· Relevant research experience.
· Previous research experience working with children including those with neurodevelopmental disorders is preferred.
· Need to work mostly on-site
· A commitment to understanding and aiding in the pursuit of equity, diversity and inclusion
**Employment Type:** Part time; 0.3FTE, 1 year contract.
