Position Summary:
USGP is seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join the Mental Health Department at MacDill AFB. This full-time role supports active duty service members, providing vital behavioral health services in a mission-driven environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited institutionLicensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice psychology in any U.S. state, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin IslandsDEA Registration: RequiredExperience: At least one year of experience as a licensed clinical psychologist, with proficiency in psychological evaluation, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatmentCertifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association or military equivalentIntermediate computer skills with ability to manage electronic records and data analysis tools

Key Responsibilities:

Provide psychological evaluations using interviews, testing, and collateral dataDiagnose mental health disorders in accordance with the DSMDeliver individual, family, couples, and group psychotherapySupport medical and surgical patients in coping with injury, illness, or rehabilitation needsParticipate in team meetings and case conferences as a non-voting memberMaintain accurate clinical documentation in both outpatient and inpatient recordsAttend and participate in quality improvement activities and required professional trainingCollaborate with military leadership, legal entities, and community organizations as neededAdhere to all applicable professional standards and MTF credentialing requirements
