Clinical PeriOp Implementation and Training Specialist
**Location:** Remote (significant travel required; primarily East Coast and Central U.S.) **Duration:** 9 months CTG is seeking Clinical Training Specialists to join our team. This position is well‑suited for a seasoned professional with deep perioperative expertise and hands‑on experience implementing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Operating Room experience is required. RN or LPN license required. **Position Highlights** + Contract contingent on award + Significant travel required—primarily throughout the East Coast and Central U.S. (road‑warrior role) + Remote work when not traveling; must maintain a dedicated home office and reliable high‑speed internet **Primary Responsibilities** + Assist with configuration of new software + Develop and deliver training plans, class agendas, virtual presentations, and training materials + Review application configuration with appropriate clinical and operational staff + Provide on‑site, instructor‑led training in both classroom and one‑on‑one mentoring formats + Support customer Go‑Live activities with on‑site guidance and troubleshooting + Conduct product demonstrations for prospective clients, existing customers, and internal teams + Complete and submit required on‑site certification documentation + Submit training reports, monthly expenses, and timekeeping accurately and on schedule + Collaborate with the Product Training Coordinator to schedule on‑site and remote training within contracted timeline **Required Qualifications** + Minimum 3+ years of perioperative experience + RN or LPN is required + 3+ years of software implementation experience + Prior EMR/EHR implementation background + Strong client‑facing skills with a commitment to follow‑through and issue resolution + Ability to assess workflow challenges and recommend effective process improvements + Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, identify barriers, and propose solutions + Excellent listening, communication, and presentation abilities + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) + Ability to understand technical processes and learn new software quickly + Hands‑on implementation experience in a hospital or clinical environment **Preferred Qualifications** + Previous experience working with the VA + E‑learning development experience + Fluency in clinical and technical terminology relevant to perioperative systems + Formal training in a medical discipline **Education** + Bachelor’s degree required + RN or LPN required **Experience** + Required: 3+ years of clinical software implementation experience + Preferred: Prior VA implementation experience **Certifications** + Training‑focused certifications preferred Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $70.00 to $80.00 per hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
