The Clinical Packaging Technician is responsible for performing packaging activities to support efficient operations and uphold safety and regulatory standards. This role involves working under direct supervision to ensure packaging equipment runs efficiently and within required timelines, while maintaining compliance with industry practices and GMP standards.
ResponsibilitiesPerform normal operating routines under direct supervision.Conduct packaging activities to support equipment efficiency and timelines.Evaluate pharmaceutical products for safety and regulatory compliance.Ensure GMP standards are maintained during production and packaging.Perform visual inspection of products at specified intervals.Monitor and retrieve materials to ensure efficient packaging operations.Conduct packaging line clean-up and assist with set-up activities.Proactively minimize equipment stoppage and idle time.Comply with applicable regulations, standard operating procedures, and industry practices.Adhere to all Quality System policies and procedures.Understand and monitor the daily packaging schedule, scrap levels, and equipment performance.Ensure compliance with regulatory and Environmental, Health, and Safety standards.Communicate events affecting the packaging schedule in a timely manner.Fulfill on-the-job training requirements.Work cross-functionally with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Facilities, Engineering, Materials Management, and other business units.Participate in required and appropriate training.Work shifts and overtime as necessary.Essential SkillsHigh School Diploma or GED.Attention to detail.Packaging experience in pharmaceutical or medical devices.Additional Skills & QualificationsBS degree in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or biomedical.20/20 vision with or without corrective lenses.Ability to distinguish and identify colors.Work EnvironmentThe position operates on the 3rd shift from Monday to Friday, from 11pm to 7:30am. The work environment involves maintaining compliance with GMP and safety standards, and may require aseptic cleaning and working in clean rooms.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.32 - $27.84/hr.
