Under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Director (CND), the Clinical Nurse Manager organizes and directs the day-to-day operations within the clinic, oversees clinic staff, and carefully coordinates clinic workflows to ensure services are provided effectively. The Clinical Nurse Manager is well-versed in people development, management, and RN-level nursing care.

Operate a high-performing, well-equipped, and safe clinic, as well as ensure workflow efficiency, clarity, and protocols Hire, retain, coach, develop and supervise RN Case Managers, Clinic RNs, Medical Assistants, and other clinic team members, as well as ensure they are engaged and healthy Analyze data with attention to trends, strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities, performing root cause analyses, evaluating care delivery processes, and making recommendations to the CND on strategies, workflows, and policies to continuously improve clinic operations Ensure nursing and clinic staff accurately deliver and document interventions as agreed upon in participant care plans, including but not limited to promptly responding to physician orders, completing assessments, and actively participating in care planning Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of coordination and services in conjunction with Medical Practice leadership, Providers, Case Managers, and other relevant interdisciplinary team disciplines Serve as the audit lead for clinical and nursing elements during CMS/DHCS audit review, in collaboration with the CND and Quality Improvement Director Develop and monitor corrective action plans to ensure ongoing complianceJob requirements include:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing or relevant healthcare field preferred; professional experience may be substituted Unencumbered registered nurse (RN) state license required Minimum of two (2) years of experience overseeing an ambulatory clinic operation including RN, LVN, and MA staff; equivalent nursing leadership experience in a high volume, outpatient setting may be substituted Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a clinical setting with a frail or elderly population Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire and maintain certification thereafter; CPR and First Aid certification upon hire preferredWe are seeking Clinical Nurse Managers that ideally have outpatient/clinical experience.
