Clinical Injury Prevention Specialist

As a Full Time Clinical Injury Prevention Specialist, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Troy, MO. The scheduled hours are Monday- Thursday, 4:45A- 3:15P.

What You'll DoDevelop and implement early intervention program consisting of performing comprehensive musculoskeletal examination, providing first aid per OSHA standards and education on injury preventionPerform physical demand and ergonomic assessments to identify high-risk tasks and recommend preventive strategiesLead group and individual training on functional movement, job simulation, and injury prevention programsCollaborate with on-site medical and safety teams to coordinate care and recommend workplace countermeasuresDocument assessments, recommendations, and outcomes in a timely and accurate mannerMaintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date recordParticipate in meetings and task forcesOther duties as assigned
What You'll Bring

Education:

Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited professional Athletic Training education programCurrent BOC Certified Athletic TrainerCurrent certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of servicesCertification in specialty areas (Ergonomic Specialty) preferred

Experience:

Experience in Occupational Health and Safety; Knowledge of current OSHA regulations preferredExperience in Ergonomics preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

Understanding of business practices and cultureAbility to critically think and prioritize job tasksProblem-solving abilitiesAbility to build relationshipsStrong time-management skillsAbility to multitask
