**Job Summary and Responsibilities** The Clinical Educator provides staff development expertise in their assigned specialty as an educator, expert clinician, consultant, facilitator, change agent, leader, patient advocate and researcher. + Each supports the clinical and professional development of their staff, with a goal of achieving excellence in the delivery of evidence based nursing practice. + The Clinical Educator facilitates the educational process through assessment, development, planning, implementation and evaluation of competency, continuing education and professional development. + In addition, as a role model of professional behavior, the Clinical Educator assists in creating a professional nursing climate and supports the SRDH mission, vision and values. + Reporting relationship: Direct reporting to Education leadership. **Job Requirements** **Minimum:** + Masters Of Nursing + 7-10 years as Level 3 NICU nurse. + Registered Nurse: NV (RN:NV) + Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR) + Neonatal Resuscitation Program Instructor (NRP-I) + Stable Program (STBL) Stable Instructor (STBL-I) within 6 months. **Preferred:** + 7-10 years as Level 3 NICU nurse with emphasis on Neonatal nursing RNC-NIC **Where You'll Work** As the only not-for-profit, faith-based healthcare system in the area, Dignity Health Nevada, guided by the Adrian Dominican Sisters' vision for over 70 years, continues to serve the Henderson and Las Vegas communities.
