Sodexo is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian for a full time inpatient position at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center located in Jamaica, NY. This 425-bed Level I Trauma & Stroke Center has been recognized as one of the leading hospitals in Queens, proudly serving their diverse community health-care needs.

 

This role is open to new or experienced candidates!

What You'll Do provide nutrition care to a variety of inpatient units;be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process; creatively problem solve and work independently with minimal supervision;be well versed in the Nutrition Focused Physical Exam and Malnutrition Identification;mentor and guide entry-level RDs and/or dietetic interns; andtake an active role in process improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary meetings.  What We Offer

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
