As a Behavioral Health Clinician, you’ll use your clinical expertise to support members navigating physical and behavioral health challenges—helping them access the right care, at the right time, with the right support.
What You’ll DoComprehensive Member SupportConduct holistic assessments using clinical tools and data insights to understand each member’s needs and eligibility for available servicesDevelop tailored care plans by integrating benefit information and both internal and external resourcesApply advanced clinical judgment to address risk factors and guide members toward improved health outcomesCrisis Intervention & Care CoordinationProvide skilled crisis intervention for members experiencing behavioral health or medical emergenciesCoordinate follow-up care to ensure members connect with appropriate providers and servicesCollaborate closely with providers, supervisors, Medical Directors, and additional programs to reduce barriers and optimize carePromoting Quality, Engagement & Better HealthApply clinical guidelines, criteria, and policies to support high-quality, medically appropriate careUse motivational interviewing and engagement strategies to empower members and encourage healthy behavior changeEducate and coach members to participate confidently in their health decisionsMonitor progress using clinical, self-reported, and utilization data to continuously refine care plansDocumentation & Care MonitoringDevelop, track, and adjust individualized plans of care based on member goalsMaintain compliance with accreditation standards and company policies using case management and quality management processesAbility to multitask effectively—including typing and talking with members simultaneouslyRequired QualificationsMaster’s degree in a behavioral health fieldMinimum 3 years of post-master’s direct clinical experience (hospital, outpatient, ambulatory, or similar care settings)Strong knowledge of mental health and substance use disordersExperience with Motivational InterviewingSolid technological skills and comfort using digital tools in a remote environmentLicensure Active, unrestricted, and independent behavioral health license in your state of residence.Anticipated Weekly Hours

The typical pay range for this role is:
$66,575.00 - $142,576.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
