Clinical Business Analyst
Job Description We are seeking an outstanding Business Analyst with strong clinical data experience and hands on familiarity with the Elluminate platform. This role acts as a key liaison between Clinical, Data Management, Biometrics, and our technology teams, helping optimize system usage, drive platform improvements, and manage operational ticket backlogs. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator, highly organized, and comfortable working with cross functional business partners and external vendors. Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement • Serve as a primary liaison between Clinical, Data Management, Biometrics, and DTE teams. • Gather, interpret, and document requirements for system enhancements, workflows, and new capabilities. • Translate business needs into actionable technical specifications. • Partner with vendors as needed to support platform enhancements and change requests. • Maintain clear, consistent communication with business stakeholders of varying technical backgrounds. Elluminate & Clinical Data • Support operational usage and continuous improvement of the Elluminate platform. • Provide guidance on Elluminate validation procedures, change controls, and data workflows. • Work closely with clinical scientists and data managers to optimize data processes and system interactions. • Contribute to platform optimization initiatives, including new feature adoption and patching cycles. Project & Ticket Management • Help manage and prioritize the operational ticket backlog. • Coordinate with business and technical teams to ensure timely resolution of issues. • Support project planning, documentation, and milestone tracking across multiple concurrent initiatives. • Maintain documentation in Confluence and other internal systems. Compensation: $70/hour to $84/hour Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Skills and Requirements • Strong Business Analyst skill set with experience supporting clinical and data focused teams. • Excellent communication skills—comfortable interacting with business users, technical teams, and vendors. • Hands on knowledge of Elluminate, including workflows, validation awareness, and change control processes. • Experience with clinical data, data management processes, and global clinical operations. • Proven ability to work in fast paced environments and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. • Experience supporting system improvements, enhancements, and operational processes. • Solid project management and requirements gathering capabilities. • Familiarity with Confluence or similar collaborative documentation tools. • Experience working with clinical scientists and biometrics teams. • Prior involvement in AI related or system capability expansion initiatives is a plus. • Background in optimizing platforms used for clinical data management.
