Clinical Applications Analyst: Cerner RadNet
CTG is seeking a Cerner RadNet Analyst to join our team. The Cerner RadNet Analyst will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing radiology information system (RIS) workflows within the Cerner Millennium platform. This role partners closely with radiology, cardiology, IT, and clinical operations teams to ensure seamless imaging workflows, accurate order management, and reliable integration with PACS and dictation systems. The analyst provides technical expertise for Cerner RadNet and supports key imaging interfaces including Fuji PACS and PowerScribe. **Key Responsibilities** **RadNet Configuration & Support** + Build, configure, and maintain Cerner RadNet components including procedure dictionaries, scheduling templates, orderables, documentation tools, and workflow rules. + Support radiology order entry, scheduling, protocoling, image tracking, and result distribution workflows. + Maintain modality worklists, exam routing, and integration with downstream systems. + Participate in domain migrations, system upgrades, and testing cycles. **PACS & Imaging System Integration** + Provide support for Fuji PACS workflows, including image routing, study reconciliation, modality configuration, and user access. + Troubleshoot issues related to DICOM communication, modality worklist failures, and image availability. + Collaborate with imaging leadership and PACS administrators to optimize image lifecycle management. **PowerScribe & Dictation Workflow Support** + Support PowerScribe integration with RadNet, ensuring accurate order-to-report mapping. + Troubleshoot dictation and transcription workflow issues, including interface errors and report distribution problems. + Assist radiologists with template configuration, voice recognition issues, and reporting workflow optimization. **Interface & Workflow Troubleshooting** + Work with interface teams to maintain and troubleshoot HL7 and DICOM interfaces between RadNet, PACS, and PowerScribe. + Monitor interface queues, resolve message failures, and ensure accurate data flow across systems. + Collaborate with vendors and internal IT teams to resolve complex technical issues. **Project Management & Implementation** + Lead or support imaging informatics projects such as new modality implementations, workflow redesigns, and system enhancements. + Develop and execute test scripts for validation, regression testing, and change control. + Provide go‑live support and post‑implementation optimization for imaging-related initiatives. **Training, Documentation & Communication** + Create and maintain system documentation including build guides, workflow diagrams, and change logs. + Provide training and support to radiology staff, technologists, schedulers, and clinical users. + Communicate system changes, downtime procedures, and upgrade impacts to stakeholders. **Qualifications** **Required** + Experience supporting Cerner RadNet or another radiology information system. + Understanding of radiology workflows, imaging terminology, and modality operations. + Experience with PACS, dictation systems, or imaging interfaces (Fuji, PowerScribe, DICOM, HL7). + Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills. + Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
