Clinical Applications Analyst: Cerner Cold Feeds

CTG is seeking a Cerner Cold Feeds Analyst to join our team. The Cerner Cold Feeds Analyst will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing inbound and outbound data interfaces that utilize Cerner’s Cold Feed technology. This role ensures accurate, timely, and secure data movement between Cerner Millennium and a wide range of third‑party clinical, diagnostic, and administrative systems. The analyst collaborates closely with clinical, technical, and vendor teams to troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and maintain high‑reliability data workflows across the enterprise. Key Responsibilities Interface Management & Support Configure, monitor, and maintain Cerner Cold Feed interfaces across multiple clinical and operational systems. Troubleshoot data flow issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to ensure data integrity and continuity. Coordinate with vendors, internal IT teams, and clinical stakeholders to resolve interface‑related incidents and optimize performance. Validate data mapping, file formats, and message structures to ensure compliance with organizational and vendor specifications. Support upgrades, patches, and system migrations that impact Cold Feed integrations. System Integration & Data Workflow Manage and support Cold Feed integrations for the following systems: AudBase Breeze Connect Epic Facesheets Fortify Chartcare GBHR, HRHR, and PSHR GE Combolab Philips ISCV Medtronic Paceart GE Muse Natus Neuroworks Natus Sleepworks Nuance Surgical CAPD TPN (Total Parenteral Nutrition) systems Ensure accurate ingestion and distribution of clinical documentation, diagnostic results, patient demographics, HR data, and other structured/unstructured data. Maintain documentation for interface configurations, workflows, and operational procedures. Quality Assurance & Compliance Perform interface testing, including unit, functional, and integrated testing for new or updated feeds. Ensure data handling meets organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and security policies (HIPAA, PHI protection, etc.). Monitor interface logs and proactively identify anomalies or performance degradation. Collaboration & Communication Work closely with clinical departments to understand workflow needs and translate them into technical requirements. Partner with application teams, database administrators, and network engineers to support end‑to‑end data flow. Provide clear communication and status updates to leadership and stakeholders. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience supporting Cerner Millennium with a focus on Cold Feed interfaces. Strong understanding of HL7, flat‑file formats, and healthcare data exchange standards. Hands‑on experience with the following systems and feeds: AudBase, Breeze Connect, Epic Facesheets, Fortify Chartcare GBHR/HRHR/PSHR GE Combolab, GE Muse Philips ISCV Medtronic Paceart Natus Neuroworks & Sleepworks Nuance Surgical CAPD TPN systems Ability to analyze logs, troubleshoot interface failures, and resolve data discrepancies. Familiarity with clinical workflows, diagnostic systems, and hospital operations. Excellent communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skills. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
