In this role, you'll take a lead position in assessing market risk‑taking behavior through detailed portfolio and transaction analysis, thoughtful risk‑limit calibration, and proactive stress testing around major market events. Acting as a trusted risk partner, you’ll analyze emerging market developments, challenge risk activities where needed, and ensure that critical issues reach senior management quickly and clearly. The role also involves driving enhancements to risk measures, overseeing adherence to established limits, and supporting new product approvals while working closely with traders and business leaders. Based onsite in New York four days a week, the position keeps you closely connected to senior management and trading teams, enabling real‑time collaboration and impact.
Salary range for this position: $130,000 - $170,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. Strong academic record with Bachelor’s degree, equivalent or above in Finance, Economics or a related quantitative/analytical discipline preferredUnderstanding of financial products (including derivatives/greeks) is required.
