Client Project Manager

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Project Manager on the Global Payments & Liquidity Client Project Management team. This project manager will support large scale, complex, and customized treasury solution implementation projects utilizing a formal project approach.

As the project manager, you will partner with Treasury Management Sales and Implementation by outlining the full project scope, applying project management practices, principles, and tools, becoming the primary point of contact for our top-tier customers.


In this role, you will:

Provide “white glove” project management support for top-tier customers

Act as a single point of contact for coordinating product implementation, product readiness tasks, testing, production monitoring, and escalation management

Be responsible for developing and publishing a comprehensive and customized project plan timeline, including account structures, transmission matrixes, Gantt charts, and implementation timelines

Participate in larger efforts to independently manage sub-program components and identify opportunities for smaller scale, lower risk projects such as initiation planning, executing, controlling, and closing within change management

Identify and capture basic project dependencies and interdependencies, ensure alignment of actions and artifacts with project policy, methodology and appropriate business deliverables are produced, maintained and milestones are met

Facilitate standing project meetings and provide formal documentation to ensure all customer and internal partners have full transparency to the project status

Exercise independent judgment to guide project plans, resolution of issues and ensure project tasks are completed according to established timelines

Present recommendations for setting, tracking, and managing project financials and develop business related tasks for project planning and tracking

Exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in identifying, analyzing and reporting the risks related to immediate deliverables

Collaborate and consult with subject matter experts, sponsors, stakeholders, project roles, direct managers, program leads, project individuals, risk managers, business partners and outside vendors

Manage project expectations and project requirements

Monitor project progress, identify process gaps, and proactively offer ideas for improvement


Required Qualifications:

2+ years of Project Management and Methodologies, Strategic Planning, or Implementation experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred

Experience with PMI methodologies

Strong customer focus with excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills

Ability to articulate tasks, establish timelines, and hold cross-functional teams accountable

Experience with Microsoft Project preferred; willingness to learn required

Treasury Management, Merchant Services, or Commercial Card experience is a plus

Job Expectations:

This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship

This position is a hybrid work model.  Must be willing to work out of El Monte, CA, Minneapolis, MN, Philadelphia, PA, Chandler, AZ, Salt Lake City, UT, Winston Salem, NC, or Charlotte, NC office approximately 3 days a week

Chandler, AZ: $68,000 - $104,000

Salt Lake City, UT: $68,000 - $104,000

Winston Salem, NC: $68,000 - $104,000

Charlotte, NC: $68,000 - $104,000

Minneapolis, MN: $75,000 - $114,000

Philadelphia, PA: $75,000 - $114,000

El Monte, CA: $82,000 - $125,000

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
