What the day will look like
+ Manage a team of Client Managers and Client Executives to drive growth strategies and deliver superior service and broking/placement outcomes for the Professional Services segment.
+ Lead a portfolio of clients across Life, PHI, and Accident & Health insurance.
+ Mentor and support Client Managers/Executives to conduct local market planning and contribute to broader growth strategies
+ Develop a talent strategy for the team
+ Develop strategies that deliver client value and maximise growth opportunities and client retention
+ Develop scorecards, set targets and individual KPI’s that drive the right behaviours and contribute to growth targets
+ Support and coach colleagues across the team to enable high levels of servicing capability and to deliver cultural change
+ Monitor, evaluate and report on cross sell, forecasting and budget activity across the portfolio
How this opportunity is different
This role is responsible for leading a team of Health & Benefits consultants with a focus on Professional Services clients.
You and your team will be responsible for providing service excellence to clients to help them build, place, manage and promote employee benefits programs to their employees. You will also be responsible for growth of your portfolio and working closely with other teams within Aon to deliver integrated solutions to clients.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
Experience
+ Experience in a senior leadership role
+ Operational excellence to provide quality service to clients whilst achieving a healthy profit margin for the business
+ Success leading high performing teams and driving and executing change
+ Proven results building a team and function from the ground up
+ Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form
+ Extensive knowledge of benefit plans and programs including the various legislative requirements
+ Organised with good time management skills
+ Proven track record to successfully manage multiple consulting engagements for a diverse range of clients
+ Previous experience of at least 5 years of working in group risk for insurers or consulting/broking company or rehabilitation firm

+ Ability to develop and implement strategy
+ Business Planning skills
+ People Leadership, strong ability to mentor and engage teams
+ Commercially minded and numerically astute
+ Ability to handle and influence senior stakeholders

+ Bachelor’s degree or other relevant qualifications (desirable)
