Client Director - London, Bristol or Chichester

We are seeking a talented Client Director to join our UK Corporate Consulting Team at Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB). This role will be based in our London, Bristol, or Chichester office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The Client Director is a senior role responsible for managing and growing strategic client relationships within Mercer Marsh Benefits. This role acts as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service and innovative benefits solutions that align with client objectives. The Client Director leads cross-functional client teams to drive client satisfaction, business development, and long-term partnership success.

Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders

Lead the client teams in delivery of comprehensive benefits consulting and advisory services, ensuring alignment with client goals and regulatory requirements

Identify opportunities for business growth and innovation within existing client accounts

Collaborate with internal teams including consulting, advisory, operations, and technology to deliver integrated solutions

Oversee contract negotiations, service level agreements, and performance metrics

Provide strategic insights and thought leadership on market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging benefits practices

Manage client escalations and resolve complex issues promptly and effectively.

Represent Mercer Marsh Benefits at industry events and client meetings to enhance brand reputation

Advanced client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Deep knowledge of employee benefits, health and wellness plans, and retirement solutions

Excellent commercial acumen and business development capabilities

Strategic thinking with the ability to translate client needs into actionable solutions

Effective communication and presentation skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex projects

Proficiency in data analysis and benefits technology platforms is advantageous

Marsh is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office.
