What's it all about?

Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa’s network clients, including issuers, acquirers, merchants, processors and Fintechs. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, we solve the most strategic problems for our clients.

The Central European (CE) consulting practice within VCA provides consulting and analytics services for Visa clients in the region. We apply our deep expertise in the payments industry to provide solutions that assist clients with their key business priorities to drive growth and improve profitability. Our team is seeking a Consulting Analyst based in Frankfurt to join our Core-Consulting practice. This role involves contributing to the development and implementation of high-impact projects for our clients in the CE region, specifically on the Austrian market.

What we expect of you, day to day:

Support the VCA team in the delivery of projects for Visa clients across various domains, from payments, digital, products to strategy.Assist in the delivery of detailed data gathering and analysis to obtain valuable insights.Support our project managers in the delivery of projects to understand effective project managementPerform market and trend analyses using Visa’s comprehensive global market research capabilities and data toolsSupport in developing Thought Leadership to learn about the future of payments and retail bankingAct as part a global team experiencing the power of big global technology companySupport strategy to market activities including but not limited to workshops, client meetings, content development etc.Support the development and maintenance of VCA service sales and delivery collateral (toolkit)Support the VCA team with ongoing operations, administration and team building activities

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

International experience would be an assetPrevious experience in Financial Services or Payments industriesProactive, curious, with experience of being a self-starter and has a willingness to learnPresenting attitude to think creatively and identify new ways to innovateProblem solver with demonstrated thought leadershipComfortable juggling multiple projects while quick to adapt to shifting prioritiesEvidence on excellent communication skills and storytellingConfident communication style and ability to appropriately engage with senior stakeholdersProven ability to thrive in high pressure situations and a fast paced and matrixed environmentStrong team player with a willingness to collaborate across levels and functional expertsExcellent analytical and quantitative skills - highly proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and ExcelComfortable managing spreadsheets, devising formulas, and performing data analysis, while alsoBuilding Executive presentationsFluent English and German, both written and spoken2 or more years experience in consulting
