DUTIES: 1. Maintain data management systems to organize and analyze the needs of the Behavioral Health Services Department. 2. Assists in the development, justification, submission of and monitoring of the department and office budget. 3. Utilization of database systems for leave requests, attendance, mileage and payroll purposes. 4. Research and interpret information of dissemination to identified stakeholders. 5. Acts as a liaison between the BHS department and other Monroe One and community agencies for budget, contracts referrals, human services and other business as assigned. 6. Performs complex computations relating to full-time equivalents (FTE), caseload management and other duties as assigned. 7. Prepare and proofread written reports, letters and various documents using a variety of software systems. 8. Provides training and support to colleagues within the department as needed. 9. Supports colleagues with systems for purchasing requisitions, conferences and personnel hiring. 10. General clerical duties including phone and email for responsibilities associated to this position. 11. Other duties assigned by the administrator of the program. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Civil Service eligibility forClerk I: Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma, plus either: (A) Four (4) years of paid full-time or its part-time or volunteer equivalent office clerical or secretarial experience; OR, (B) An associate degree in Secretarial Science, Office Technology, or a closely related field, plus two (2) years of experience as described in (A) above; OR, (C) An equivalent combination of education and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B) above. NOTES: * Successful completion of one (1) year of college coursework (or 30 semester credit hours) from a New York State registered or regionally accredited college or university may be substituted for up to one (1) year of the required experience. * Experience as a Teller, Cashier or Salesclerk shall not be considered office clerical experience. 2. Strong proficiency with the following software, Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel, Frontline Education applications, WinCap Web, WinCap Financial, Company Mileage, M1B Student Request System (SRS) and other software as determined by the department administrator. 10. Experience with special education and working in a school setting preferred. 11. Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).
