Job Title: Cleanroom Technician
Job Description
The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for assembling high-quality medical devices while working within a controlled (clean, sterile, medical-grade) manufacturing area.
Responsibilities
Process polymer materials to compose, test, or apply on medical devices per approved manufacturing procedures.Assemble plastic and metal components into medical devices in accordance with approved manufacturing procedures.Perform in-process quality checks on subassemblies and finished products.Utilize small hand tools, calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, microscopes, and test equipment.Participate in line meetings as needed.Work with engineers and technicians to resolve line issues and suggest improvements.Maintain cleanroom integrity by using proper attire and adherence to cleanroom environment practices and procedures.Maintain accurate records/documentation related to quality, work in progress, test results, labor (e.g., timecards), and special projects.Apply workstation practices and line clearance in daily activities.Adhere to general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies and procedures, QSR, and FDA regulations.Essential Skills
Attention to detail and hand dexterity.Ability to learn and be trained on new skills and equipment.Experience with assembly, machine operation, and use of microscopes is preferred.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.Ability to work with small plastic and metal components.Capability to maintain production levels in a high-volume manufacturing setting.Experience in cleanroom, medical device, or manufacturing is preferred.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is a cleanroom setting, requiring personal protective equipment to be worn all day. The dress code is business casual with a professional and clean-cut culture. No jewelry, makeup, eyelash extensions, fake nails, perfumes, or colognes are allowed. The first shift runs from 7 am to 3:30 pm, and the second shift from 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm, with a 5-7 week training period.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.20/hr.
