Job Title: Cleanroom Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Cleanroom Technician, where you will work on a rotating schedule with both morning and night shifts available. This entry-level role offers a fantastic opportunity for growth and development within the company.

Responsibilities

Monitor and oversee the operation of 2-3 machines producing plastic caps.Conduct visual inspections of plastic caps every two hours to ensure quality and identify any defects such as rough edges.Manage and replace bins on scales once the desired weight is reached.Alert the team lead if a machine requires attention, without attempting to fix it yourself.

Essential Skills

At least 6 months of stable work history.Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.Comfortable working in a loud environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in packaging or inspection.Familiarity with rotating shifts.Experience in production or manufacturing.Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Work Environment

The facility is climate-controlled and maintains a high standard of cleanliness, although it is loud due to machinery operations. Employees work alongside a team of 13 individuals in the production department, primarily manufacturing caps for products like shampoo and cleaning goods. Upon hire, employees are provided with uniforms and are required to wear protective gear such as hair nets and earplugs while on the production floor. A locker room is available for personal belongings.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Libertyville, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
