Join our dynamic team in the New EES Battery Storage unit program, set to span the next 2-3 years. Initial training will take place on the 1st shift from 5:50 am to 2:05 pm, transitioning to a Continental 4 crew model starting March 1st, with shifts from 6 am to 6 pm. Candidates will be assigned to one of the crews: A, B, C, or D.
ResponsibilitiesPerform manufacturing assembly at various operating stations along the battery line.Conduct quality checks on parts to ensure standards are met.Pack and prepare parts for shipment efficiently.Assemble and sub-assemble battery packs with precision.Maintain cleanliness and general maintenance of the facility and assigned work areas.Essential SkillsAbility to follow instructions and stay attentive for 8-12 hour shifts.Capability to learn and operate multiple stations throughout the manufacturing process.Comfort with standing and being active for the entire shift duration.Previous experience of 6 months in assembly or machine operation.High school diploma or GED.Ability to lift or move weights between 15-20 pounds.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in production and assembly tasks.General labor experience.Comfort with dynamic tasks such as breaking down boxes, moving materials, and loading lines.Why Work Here?Enjoy a weekly perfect attendance bonus paid biweekly, practically no-cost benefits with immediate enrollment, and a 401k match. Work EnvironmentWork in a brand-new, $62 million facility in Auburn Hills. Enjoy a temperature-controlled, clean environment with new equipment throughout. All employees wear lab coats, boots, and safety glasses for protection. Orientation occurs on the 1st shift during the first week before transferring to the desired shift.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
