Cleanroom Technician
**Job Title: Medical Device Assembly Technician** 1st shift; Monday - Thursday; 5:30am - 4:00pm; $17.58 per hour 2nd shift; Monday - Thursday; 4:00pm - 2:30am; $19.34 per hour **Job Description** Join a dynamic manufacturing team dedicated to making a meaningful difference in patients' lives around the world. As a Medical Device Assembly Technician, you will be involved in creating life-transforming tools, technologies, and devices. Your role will primarily involve working in a boxing cleanroom to bag, seal, box, and scan finished catheters, ensuring they are ready for shipment. **Responsibilities** + Use tools and equipment to assemble medical devices with precision and in a timely manner, proficiently handling multiple operations as per work order instructions and drawings. + Conduct inventory reconciliation at the start of the day and when transitioning to the next work order. + Review, follow, and perform job functions in compliance with established work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This includes recording traceable information on device history records and entering data into manufacturing systems. + Perform line clearance by cleaning and sanitizing workstations at the start of shifts and when transitioning to new work orders. Ensure all required components and tools are ready for the build. + Conduct self-assessment of work, including visual inspection under magnification, and provide constructive feedback to colleagues. Escalate work issues and equipment performance changes to supervisors for assessment and correction. + Maintain regular attendance, arrive on time, and work a full 10-hour shift. + Perform general housekeeping duties in the work area. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read, comprehend, and speak English + Comfort with standing for a 10-hour shift + Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment + Basic computer skills **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with cleanroom operations + Proficiency in assembly tasks, especially medical assembly + Ability to use hand tools and microscopes + Adaptability and teamwork + Coachability and a quality mindset + Reliability and hand dexterity **Work Environment** This position operates within a cleanroom environment, requiring adherence to strict hygiene and operational standards. The role involves standing for extended periods, using microscopes, and handling delicate medical assembly tasks.
