**Job Title: Cleanroom Technician** **Job Description** As a Cleanroom Technician, you will play a crucial role in assembling panels for medical devices and processing components through various instructions, which may be in the form of drawings, or written or verbal directions. You will be responsible for inspecting parts for quality and defects, performing micro laser ablation, measuring and inspecting arterial stents, and micro laser etching of dental implant parts. Additionally, you will handle data entry tasks, fill out job travelers, complete certificates of conformance, sign off on travelers, and create labels for parts. **Responsibilities** + Assemble panels for medical devices and process components through instructions. + Inspect parts for quality and defects. + Perform micro laser ablation and measurement of arterial stents. + Conduct micro laser etching of dental implant parts. + Handle data entry tasks including filling out job travelers and certificates of conformance. + Sign off on travelers and create labels for parts. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in assembling medical devices. + Experience in production and cleanroom environments. + Machine operation skills. + Ability to inspect and measure using quality assurance techniques. + Experience working with microscopes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 2 years of experience in manufacturing. + Medical device experience is required. + Proficiency with calipers and micrometers. + Experience in measuring parts accurately. **Why Work Here?** Join a small medical device location that is part of a large company, offering exposure to both volume manufacturing and R&D work. Benefit from a dynamic work environment that values innovation and growth. **Work Environment** This position offers one opening on the 2nd shift (2:30 PM to 10:30 PM) with a 7% shift differential, and one opening on the 3rd shift (10:30 PM to 6:30 AM) with a 12% shift differential. Both shifts include an extra 30 minutes of paid work to ensure an 8-hour day. Work in a cleanroom manufacturing environment for medical devices. You may occasionally work overtime on Saturdays or stay late, with all overtime being voluntary. The role involves mostly sitting, but you have the option to stand. Workstations are equipped with chairs, and you must be comfortable lifting up to 20 lbs. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.40 - $23.52/hr.
