Description
\n\t\t\t\t\tBlending Operator will be working in their mixing department creating batches. Their responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: \n\n- Read work orders to determine production specifications and information.\n- Weigh or measure materials, ingredients, and products to ensure conformance to requirements.\n- Add or mix chemicals and ingredients for processing, using hand tools or other devices.\n- Start machines to mix or blend ingredients; then allow them to mix for specified times.\n- Dump or pour specified amounts of materials into machinery and equipment.\n- Clean and maintain equipment.\n- Collect samples of materials or products for laboratory testing.\n- Transfer materials, supplies, and products between work areas, using moving equipment and hand\ntools.\n\n1st Shift: \n7:30 am - 3:30pm (Monday - Friday)

\n\t\t\t\t\tMUST HAVE:\n1. Experience within a manufacturing setting\n1a). Candidates need to understand how a production/mfg environment works (ie: metrics, quotas, expectations) \n\n2). Ability to lift 30 - 40 lbs throughout the day\n2a). They have lift assists but they will still need to be able to lift bags of material into the mixers to blend \n\n3). High attention to detail \n3a). Candidates need to read a \"recipe\" to dump materials into mixers\n\n4). Ability to understand basic math equations\n4a). Candidates need to be able to add, subtract, and work in fractions to build the recipes in the mixers\n\n5). HS Diploma or GED\n\nPREFERRED:\n- Prior forklift experience

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
