**Cleanroom Technician - 1st Shift - Sorrento Valley**
**Job Description**
As a Cleanroom Technician, you will oversee daily production and packaging activities in strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will play a crucial role in achieving production goals and addressing any unexpected workload peaks to ensure timely product release.
**Responsibilities**
+ Collaborate with the Team Leader to detail critical raw materials, in-process procedures, and specifications.
+ Identify and implement corrective actions for technical issues related to raw materials and finished products.
+ Perform in-process quality checks on sub-assemblies and finished products.
+ Address line issues and production problems, promptly notifying relevant personnel of any corrective actions needed.
+ Maintain accurate records and documentation following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and related SOPs.
+ Utilize the computerized Materials Resource Planning (MRP) inventory system to report lot-controlled ingredients on batch records.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in cleanroom operations and production processes.
+ Understanding of GDP, GMP, and SOPs in a manufacturing environment.
+ Ability to provide detailed examples of adherence to SOPs and GDP from previous roles.
+ Experience in machine operation, multitasking, quality assurance, packaging, inspection, and computer operation.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ At least two years of prior assembly/packaging experience, preferably in a regulated medical device manufacturing or pharmaceutical setting.
+ Familiarity with coagulation-based manufacturing processes.
+ Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), FDA regulations, and ISO standards.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and large Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP.
+ Understanding of qualification and validation trials is advantageous.

**Work Environment**
Openings are available on the second shift for Technical Operator 1, from 1:30 pm to 10 pm, with a 10% shift differential. The role is within the TEM department, where you will report to designated supervisors. Adhere to the dress code, which includes wearing pants, no makeup, and tucked necklaces. Glasses require side shields, and ear protection is provided due to noise levels. Headphones and cell phones are prohibited on the manufacturing floor. Be flexible with overtime, and reliability is crucial to avoid bottlenecks in the manufacturing process.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75/hr.
