Job Title: Cleanroom Quality Tech
Job Description

As a Cleanroom Quality Tech, you will be responsible for maintaining production quality standards and documentation. Your role will include preparing and maintaining necessary documentation, monitoring production quality performance to identify opportunities for improvement, and coordinating Return Materials Authorization (RMA) and Material Review Board (MRB) processes. You will perform quality audits, monitor Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) control compliance, and create quality reports. Additionally, you will perform independently within one or more specific quality-related disciplines within the organization’s quality program, including maintaining calibrated inspection and test equipment, document control, and supplier quality incident resolution. You will indirectly provide supporting leadership to the Quality Inspectors.

ResponsibilitiesMaintain production quality standards and documentation.Prepare and maintain necessary documentation.Monitor production quality performance to identify opportunities for improvement.Coordinate Return Materials Authorization (RMA) and Material Review Board (MRB) processes.Perform quality audits and monitor Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) control compliance.Create quality reports.Maintain calibrated inspection and test equipment.Manage document control and supplier quality incident resolution.Provide supporting leadership to Quality Inspectors.Essential SkillsIntermediate computer skills.Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)/Operations and Electronic Manufacturing Service (EMS) or equivalent experience.Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 and other IPC standards preferred.Experience in ISO 9001 environments; familiarity with AS9100, AS9102, CFR 21 Part 820, and ISO standards.Proficiency in using measuring equipment and Measurement System Analysis.Knowledge of quality-related disciplines including Document Control, Calibration, ESD Control, audits, and supplier quality resolution.Strong English verbal and written communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in quality check, inspection, and quality assurance.Ability to perform visual inspection using tools such as microscopes, micrometers, and calipers.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The working environment is generally clean, with occasional exposure to dust, metals/solder, high noise levels from operating machines, or physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts. The employee must wear designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and/or electrostatic dissipative protection where required. Office/business casual attire, consistent with site-specific safety guidelines, is appropriate.

This is a Contract position based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
