**Job Title: Cleanroom Operator** Job Description The role involves inspecting medical products within a cleanroom setting, requiring the use of lab coats and glasses to maintain cleanliness and safety standards. Responsibilities + Inspect medical products in a cleanroom setting. + Read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, procedures, and inspection sheets. + Verify the calibration of measuring equipment and report any concerns regarding equipment validity. + Complete paperwork such as data sheets, lab requests, and NCMRs, both electronically and in hard copy. + Perform required read and record data sheets, first article inspections, or other documented inspections. + Interpret sample sizes from a standard AQL table. + May perform additional inspection and production functions as needed. Essential Skills + Proficiency in inspection techniques and quality assurance. + Ability to use tools such as micrometers, calipers, and microscopes. + Experience with blueprint reading and visual inspection. + 1-3 years of mechanical inspection experience using a variety of equipment and tolerances to at least the 5th decimal point. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Familiarity with computers and basic Microsoft applications. + Experience as a cleanroom assembler, machine operator, or in medical device assembly. + Ability to perform quality checks and final inspections. Work Environment The position is based in a cleanroom environment, with various shift options: 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM; 2nd shift from Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM; and 3rd shift from Sunday to Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Bedford, Massachusetts. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr.
