3rd Shift Cleanroom Inspector Opening

Responsibilities

Perform first piece inspections to ensure product quality.Conduct random shop inspection audits to maintain standards.Complete inspection reports as required.Carry out first article and PPAP inspections when needed by the customer.Operate machinery safely and efficiently.Maintain cleanliness and organizational standards, adhering to safety protocols.Complete additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Essential Skills

Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.Intermediate math skills, including geometry and trigonometry.Mechanical inclination to operate and understand machinery.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Effective interpersonal and written communication abilities.Proficient in record keeping and attendance tracking.Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in a quality role within a metal fabrication shop for 1-2 years.Ability to read and interpret a tape measure accurately.Experience with precision measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Willingness to train on the 1st shift for the initial training period.
