**Job Title: Cleanroom Assembler**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a Cleanroom Assembler for a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. The successful candidate will engage in repetitive to non-repetitive assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical cable assemblies and electrical sub-assemblies. This role requires working with a computer tablet to follow instructions, drawings, sketches, and wiring diagrams throughout the production process. The candidate should be skilled in cable/wire termination and crimping specifications, and adept with various hand tools, semi-automatic and manual wire crimpers, and diverse power tools. Additionally, the ability to lift up to 30 pounds periodically and measure wire lengths accurately to 1/8 of an inch with a tape measure is essential.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform repetitive to non-repetitive assembly operations on electronic and mechanical cable assemblies and electrical sub-assemblies.
+ Utilize computer tablets for instructions, drawings, sketches, and wiring diagrams.
+ Apply knowledge of cable/wire termination and crimping specifications.
+ Use various hand tools, semi-automatic and manual wire crimpers, and power tools.
+ Lift up to 30 pounds periodically.
+ Measure wire lengths accurately to 1/8 of an inch with a tape measure.
**Essential Skills**
+ 6 months to 1 year of wire assembly experience.
+ 1 year of manufacturing experience.
+ Ability to read a tape measure to 1/8 of an inch.
+ Proficiency in assembly, wiring, and use of hand tools.
+ Familiarity with cable/wire termination and crimping specifications.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
+ Strong attention to detail.
+ Capability to work independently and follow written instructions.

**Work Environment**
The position is fully on-site in Des Moines, Iowa, operating two shifts: 1st shift from 7:30 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday, and 2nd shift from 4 pm to 12:30 am. The facility is temperature-controlled and exceptionally clean, with a casual dress code allowing jeans and work-appropriate shirts or sweatshirts. Team size ranges from 20 to 30 employees, with most work done independently at 'cell' workstations. Seating is not guaranteed, but some jobs offer that option. We maintain high standards by adding staff during busy seasons and provide lockers for personal belongings.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Moines, Iowa.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
