Cleaning Operative

We're looking for a reliable and proactive Cleaner to support the day-to-day presentation and cleanliness of a residential development, including shared internal areas such as the spa and gym, staff facilities, and other areas as requested by management.  

Working under the direct supervision of the Cleaning Supervisor, you'll also liaise with site management to ensure consistently high standards are maintained across the building. 

Where will I be working? 

On site at a development in London SW1P -working Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (flexibility required) 

Key responsibilities 

You'll be responsible for all basic cleaning duties in and around the residential buildings, including:  

Cleaning floors and rooms: dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, spot cleaning, and cleaning glass/windows.   Cleaning and sanitising restrooms: replenishing supplies, cleaning fixtures and mirrors, spot cleaning partitions, and maintaining high hygiene standards.   Emptying waste and replacing liners.   Setting up, stocking, and maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies.    Monitoring sanitation and organisation of assigned areas.   Transporting dirty linens to the correct area for cleaning and restocking with clean linens as required.   Supporting other departments when needed to help deliver the best possible service.  Completing additional tasks as required by management.    Ensuring COSHH and Health & Safety regulations are followed at all times.  

What we're looking for 

Essential: 

Previous cleaning experience (ideally in residential, hospitality, leisure, or similar environments).  A strong understanding of, and commitment to, Health & Safety, COSHH, and fire safety requirements.  Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a team-focused approach.   Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently to high standards.   Organised, with the ability to manage tasks and maintain supplies effectively.
