**About the role**
Support the operations and execution of service to all clean and dirty utility services supporting a 24/7 pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The role is responsible for effective and efficient service delivery, calibrations, and troubleshooting to minimize customer business interruptions.
As a CBRE Clean Utility Technician, you will calibrate, maintain, and complete the minor repairs of scientific instrumentation.
This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.
**What you’ll do**
•Provides on-site support with all utilities systems to assure reliable operations for the customer.
•Communicates with client and facility occupants to ensure that customer satisfaction is delivered and enhances the critical utilities system that support all processes and operations.
•Manages/hosts the on-site activity of sub-contractors performing clean utility PM/CMs.
•Available on-call 24/7 to provide telephone assistance or emergency response to the facility and all alarms including equipment.
•Ensures compliance to all city, state, and federal license and certification requirements. Maintain and submit all records and documents to proper authorities for audit purposes.
•Reviews all work and assures performance in accordance with OEM design specs and established safety procedures.
•Participates in scheduling meetings with operational partners/customer to finalize priority of work orders, optimum downtime windows, and necessary lead times.
•Work with the customer (if required) to determine resource availability and level the work force schedule.
•Maintains accurate metrics on the performance of maintenance tasks and provide timely reports to the Site Manager.
•Operate in the Maximo qualified CMMS system and provide documentation as required.
•Performs other duties as required.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
+ High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 7+ years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ NJ Black Seal Boiler License preferred
Demonstrated leadership and management experience GxP knowledge preferred.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
REASONING ABILITY
Requires knowledge of technical terms and principles. Ability to conduct analysis including the preparation of reports.
Demonstrated organizational and planning skills. Demonstrated ability to read standard blueprints, machine, and process drawings.
Ability to manage or work with the client projects teams and keep them progressing to completion.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Ability to direct the work of specialized OEM vendors.
High level technical knowledge and skill to accurately assign and complete a job.
Knowledge and understanding of the maintenance processes and proper use of the work order system, planning, scheduling and stockroom processes.
