**Job Title: Clean Room Production Technician** **Job Description** Join our team as a Clean Room Production Technician, where you will play a critical role in manufacturing wafers that are integral to consumer electronics, cell phones, and devices that sense light. You will work in a specialized clean room environment, handling different types of glass and operating coating machines to apply thin film coatings on wafers. **Responsibilities** + Load and unload parts into the clean room. + Assemble tooling and machines. + Clean machines periodically. + Handle wafers of 200 millimeter diameter. + Operate various coating machines within the clean room. + Document work and operate computers and machinery for wafer production. + Monitor machine runs, which typically last 1-2 hours. + Sign off on job steps using instruction guides called 'travelers'. + Self-manage and find productive tasks during downtime. **Essential Skills** + Experience with clean rooms and wearing full bunny suits. + Understanding of GMP and SOP processes. + Ability to work 12-hour shifts. + US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required. + High School Diploma or GED required. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in general production and assembly. + Skill in handling and cleaning glass optics. + Experience with medical assembly and inspection. **Why Work Here?** Our team offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities to contribute to cutting-edge technologies that span various sectors, including consumer electronics and aerospace. Employees wear full bunny suits and manage machinery in a non-industrial setting. The role involves both active machine operation and downtime management. The shift is B Shift, from 6AM to 6:15PM, Thursday to Saturday with alternate Wednesdays. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Santa Rosa, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
