Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Clean Room Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves operating and maintaining SMT machines, ensuring the highest product quality, and adhering to company safety and efficiency standards.

ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and follow company requirements for employee safety, product quality, efficiency, and productivity.Become aware of potential workplace hazards and report them immediately to ensure the safety of self and others.Ensure the highest product quality and manufacture products according to MPI or Instructions for SMT.Operate SMT machines, including machine adjustments, and perform 1-3 tasks from feeder setup through SMT machine operation under direct supervision.Perform maintenance on feeders and machine accessories as necessary.Monitor consumables for SMT lines and setup.Collaborate with Stockroom, Engineering, Programming, and Quality to ensure assemblies are produced with utmost quality.Communicate clearly with teammates and supervisors regarding all aspects of the job.Report problems with machines, materials, or personnel and offer solutions within the scope of job duties.Provide complete and accurate documentation when required.Learn and uphold company standards to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and optimize work efficiency.Strive to achieve company-specified production targets.Keep workspace clean and organized to maximize safety and productivity.Offer suggestions for workspace improvement if needed.Operate diverse machines related to the manufacturing process.Stay up to date and closely observe assembly and maintenance instructions.Be proactive about acquiring and maintaining any necessary certifications required for the position.Inspect equipment, perform maintenance and repairs, and recommend and follow up on machine adjustments to improve performance.Essential SkillsStrong commitment and ability to follow safety rules and procedures and utilize safety equipment.Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift or push weights up to 50 pounds.Flexibility in terms of shift scheduling, including scheduling for overtime and holiday shifts.Ability to read, speak, understand, and communicate using basic English.Ability to coordinate and collaborate with teams.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssembly, Solder, SMT, Electronic assembly, Electronics, Production, Blueprint, Microscope, Inspection skills.Soldering, Circuit board, Surface mount, Surface-mount technology, Troubleshooting, Electrical, SMT machine, Schematic skills.High school diploma or GED.Level 1: 1-2 years of previous experience in a manufacturing environment.Level 2: 3-4 years of previous experience in a manufacturing environment.Level 3: 5+ years of previous experience in a manufacturing environment.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Nevada.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
