Job Description
The role involves assembling insulin pumps on a manufacturing line. You will work at various workstations with a team to complete assemblies. This position requires manual and electro-mechanical assembly duties, using small tools and a computer to log data. You will also perform testing, troubleshooting, and ensure accurate documentation.
Responsibilities
Assemble insulin pumps as part of a manufacturing team.Work on a manufacturing line in designated workstations.Perform manual and electro-mechanical assembly tasks.Use small tools for assembly and maintenance.Log data accurately using computer systems.Conduct testing and troubleshooting of assemblies.Review batch records for accuracy and compliance.Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Essential Skills
Proficiency in using hand tools and following work instructions.Experience in assembly, cleanroom, or production environments.Ability to operate within a fast-paced and automated line setting.Knowledge of mechanical assembly, medical device standards, and GMP.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in fast-paced environments like fast food is beneficial.Good work ethic and trainability.Team player with a punctual and reliable work history.Comfortable working with computers and completing online training modules.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment involves working closely with machines, which may be loud. Shifts are structured in a way that allows for overtime pay for any hours over 40 per week. Training is comprehensive, computer-based learning and progressing to hands-on shadowing and certification. A commitment to cross-training and adapting to automation processes is expected.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.40 - $17.40/hr.
