Pay and ScheduleStarting Pay: $35.50 per hourSchedule: Monday through Friday, starting between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM, with regular overtime and Saturdays as needed.About the Role

This position is ideal for drivers who enjoy a physically active job and want to work for a company that prioritizes safety and growth. Responsibilities include:

Safely operating tractor-trailer units on assigned routes to haul solid waste and containersFrequent entry and exit from the cab throughout the daySecuring loads and performing your own tarpingConducting thorough pre- and post-trip inspectionsReading and following route sheets; servicing all assigned customersHauling containers to designated dump or swap locationsDelivering professional and courteous service at every stopPhysical and Environmental ConditionsHeavy lifting, pushing, and pulling—objects over 50 lbs.Exposure to outdoor weather conditions year-roundWork around moving mechanical parts, fumes, vibration, and moderate noiseStrict adherence to safety protocolsMinimum RequirementsValid Class A CDL with air brake endorsementAbility to read, write, and communicate in English; high school diploma or equivalent preferredAt least 2 years of relevant driving experienceBasic mechanical knowledge for inspectionsSAFETY SENSITIVE - YESWhy Work for Waste Connections?
