Job Title: Clamp Truck Operator
Job Description

The Clamp Truck Operator ensures all units are properly banded and have clear, visible load tags when loaded. This position stages units in the warehouse and loads/unloads trailers safely and efficiently. Additionally, the operator performs visual quality inspections on items to confirm accuracy in truck counts and paperwork. This role conducts the final visual quality inspection of all loaded and unloaded items.

ResponsibilitiesEnsure all units are banded properly and have visible load tags.Stage units in the warehouse and load/unload trailers safely.Perform visual quality inspections on items to ensure accuracy in counts and paperwork.Follow all safety and company policies, reporting any issues immediately.Complete monthly online safety training.Ensure exemplary attendance and work flexible hours as required.Read the Wet End run schedule and prepare correct rolls for upcoming paper grades.Drive and handle rolls safely according to company rules.Assist in peeling and prepping damaged rolls; do not reintroduce them to stock.Prepare butt rolls for return to the roll room.Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring proper stock rotation.At times, unload trucks or railcars, following all paperwork and processes.Essential SkillsProficiency with clamp forklifts, reach trucks, stand-up forklifts, and RF scanners.Ability to read schedules and execute tasks accordingly.Strong adherence to safety protocols and company policies.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in warehouse and forklift operations.Flexibility in working hours and ability to work extended hours as needed.Why Work Here?
