Temp-to-Hire position$18.00 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:30am to 03:00pm)You’ll be the friendly voice that providers hear when they call with questions about claims. You’ll help research claim statuses, route calls to the right team members, and follow up to make sure issues get resolved.
A typical day includes:
Answering inbound calls using a headsetAssisting providers with claim status questions and general inquiriesRouting calls to the right department or person when neededLogging and tracking questions that need follow-upWorking closely with our claims staff and health plans to find solutionsCalling providers back with updates once issues are resolvedClaims Customer Service Rep Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED (required)At least 1 year of office experience in health insurance or medical is a plusBasic understanding of medical terminology and coding (CPT, ICD-9/10, DRG, HCPC, Revenue Codes) helpful but not requiredGreat communication and listening skillsA friendly attitude and strong attention to detailComfortable using a computer and phone headsetApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
