We are seeking a talented individual to join our Claims Advocacy team at Marsh. This role will be based in Bogota office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Our Claims Advocates support clients in a unique capacity while remaining focused on carrier/TPA limitations and concerns. We will count on you to:
Lead strategic oversight of complex claims portfolios, ensuring accurate assessments, timely resolutions, and exceptional client advocacy.Act as the escalation point and senior technical resource for complex losses — progressing claims with minimal direction and maximum impact.Demonstrate deep domain knowledge in claims, including property, casualty, specialty, and complex insurance programs, guiding strategy, resolving disputes, and supporting market-facing negotiations.Drive innovation in claims processes by identifying automation opportunities and leveraging tools and technology to streamline repetitive or low-value tasks.Own and manage regulatory, compliance, and documentation standards, ensuring excellence in e-filing, correspondence, and audit readiness.Mentor, guide, and upskill junior advocacy team members, fostering a high-performance, knowledge-sharing culture.What you need to have:
6 to 8 years of strong experience in the General Insurance domain across different types of claims, claims lifecycle, and claim data.Graduate or master’s in commerce, Business Administration, or any equivalent education programme in the Insurance domain.Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), with strong Excel skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills, including excellent email writing.Comfortable working with new age data management tools.What makes you stand out:
