About the Role
As a Lead Water Engineer, you will:
Lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams to deliver feasibility, concept, and detailed designs for complex water infrastructure projects.
Apply technical expertise to optimise engineering solutions, ensuring safety, sustainability, and compliance with industry best practice.
Champion innovation, leveraging digital tools and data analytics to drive better project outcomes.
Build strong client relationships, understanding their needs and translating them into high-quality, practical solutions.
Foster a culture of learning and collaboration, mentoring and coaching others while continuously developing your own skills.
Demonstrate commercial acumen, managing project risks, resources, and budgets to deliver value for clients and Aurecon alike.
Promote Aurecon’s values, upholding our Ethos and commitment to safety and quality, and sustainability in everything you do.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor's degree in engineering (or equivalent), with relevant certification and registration.
Chartered Engineer
Proven experience in water infrastructure planning and delivery, ideally including design of transmission pipelines and pump stations.
Strong leadership skills, with a track record of building capability in others and working across diverse teams.
Excellent communication and client engagement abilities.
A growth mindset, with a passion for innovation, continuous improvement and lifelong learning.
