The general role of a Civil Foreman – Wireless Services is to safely and efficiently complete equipment installations, repairs, and upgrades at communication sites on the ground without direct supervision. In addition, the Civil Foreman will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of up to 6 members. This work will be performed in both commercial and industrial locations.
This individual will represent Pillar Innovations in a safe, professional, and courteous manner. This position will require a flexible schedule which may include extensive travel, extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
The Civil Foreman will report to the (Sr.) Construction Manager – Wireless Services and will work primarily out of their assigned location.
What You'll Do Perform and oversee all on site work activities and documentation as required and directedTrain and mentor Wireless Services team membersBuild customer infrastructure, such as tower sites, site expansion, and upgrades to new and existing wireless networks (e.g., civil groundwork, foundations, access roads, and compounds)Read and edit site documents such as Construction DrawingsIdentify, troubleshoot, and correct equipment and network functionality Observe and report possible defects or hazards in equipment and work siteDocument job costs, including labor hours and material in an accurate and timely mannerAccurately follow instructions and complete assigned course of action in accordance with scope of work and methods of procedures (MOPs)Complete Material Inventory upon deliveryPerform pre-work and post-work site audits and maintenance inspectionsObtain written customer approval for change orders Operate Test Equipment (ground meg testers, transits, etc.)Assist management in scheduling of labor, materials, and other job tasksAssist Wireless Services Project Manager on all aspects of project execution and completion including timely documentation Assist the Wireless Services Project Manager in writing reports from field observationsResponsible for managing labor hours to meet project schedules while maintaining quality control of project deliverablesEnsure that projects are completed while maintaining quality control Provide ongoing feedback to management regarding employee performance, production, and placementProvide feedback and input for employee performance reviews
