Walter P Moore is seeking high-achieving civil engineering students from leading universities who are passionate about shaping the built environment through innovative site development solutions. Our internship program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience while contributing to impactful projects across commercial and institutional sectors.

 

As a Civil Engineering Intern, you’ll be an integral part of our project teams, collaborating on the design and development of a variety of civil/land/site development projects. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and gain exposure to real-world challenges, including:

Site layout and gradingStormwater managementUtility designSustainable infrastructure planning

You will also have the opportunity to:

Qualifications Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or completion of a minimum of 40 college hours of engineering coursework towards BS in Civil Engineering of which at least 24 hours are engineering, physics or math related.A strong technical foundation in civil engineeringExcellent communication and teamwork skillsEnthusiasm for designing innovative and sustainable site development projectsExperience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation (preferred but not required)Written recommendation from a civil engineering professor
