Job Title: Civil Site Senior Project Engineer Job Description We are seeking an experienced Civil Site Senior Project Engineer with a strong background in civil engineering design and a passion for working on diverse projects. This role requires a professional with over 7 years of experience in site development and a solid foundation in stormwater management and water/wastewater engineering. Responsibilities + Conduct civil engineering design including site layout, grading and drainage, erosion control, stormwater management, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, and utility design. + Collaborate with staff on a variety of projects including schools, office buildings, manufacturing facilities, parking garages, and multi-family housing. + Prepare construction documents, including engineering drawings and specifications. + Write technical reports to support engineering projects. + Provide engineering support during construction phases. + Perform hydraulic calculations and prepare drainage reports, including calculations and spreadsheets. + Prepare construction bid documents. Essential Skills + Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or a related discipline. + 7+ years of experience in site development, stormwater, or water/wastewater engineering. + Proficiency in using AutoCAD Civil 3D in a professional setting. + Experience with drainage design and hydraulic calculations. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Professional experience with drainage design and hydraulics calculations. + Prior experience leading a team is desirable. Work Environment The work environment is a typical engineering consulting firm with a cubicle setup. It is generally quiet, providing a conducive atmosphere for focused work. The team is supportive and values character and personality. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexible scheduling options from 7 AM to 3 PM. Core hours are from 9 AM to 3 PM, allowing for some flexibility in start and end times. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Indianapolis, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
