**Job Description:**
We are currently recruiting for a Civil Engineer (Inspections) - Saudi National in Project Management, Construction Management and in the application of civil/structural engineering expertise and guidance. Frequent contacts require the capability to persuade, influence and/or motivate all levels of contractor representatives and team at the site.
A fully qualified engineer, proficient in the utilization of current engineering theories and practices that can conduct inspections, identify and address any issues or challenges that do not align with contract specifications arising during the project life cycle. Many assignments involve CAE (computer aided engineering)/CAD (computer aided design) applications.
**What you will be Doing**
+ Perform Construction Administration and Supervision Services for civil/Structural work performed by a General Contractor, subcontractors for the construction of different types of buildings or infrastructure.
+ Review Shop Drawings for compliance with Contract Documents
+ Review Product Data, Samples, Certification and other submittals for compliance with Contract Documents
+ Respond to Requests for Information (RFI) submitted by the Contractor
+ Provide Clarification of the requirements of the Contract Documents
+ Review installed work for conformance to the Contract Documents
+ Observe testing performed by the Contractor and determine conformance with the Contract Documents
+ Prepare Project daily reports, Letters, Internal Memos, Interface meeting minutes
+ Enforce the technical part of the contract and specifications
+ Must have can-do attitude, proactive approach to all daily tasks, ability to provide solutions for daily construction problems, thoroughly understand the technical background of the construction drawings, and ability to lead work coordination, and supervising the construction of samples or mock-up for review by the client
+ Be the liaison and facilitator of the verification process of work performed on-site.
+ Assist in proactively leading the effort of Quality Assurance with the Contractor
+ Assist in first determination, then implement the tests and material selection choices of the contract

What desired skills you will bring
+ BSc Degree in Civil/Structural or Construction Management and 3-5 years of field experience in construction of building and infrastructure projects such as underground/above ground utilities, low/mid-rise buildings, offices, residential, schools
+ Professional Engineer registration required
+ Must be able to communicate in both spoken and written English skills
+ Familiarity with industry practices and regulations
+ Requires the ability to work within a team
+ Familiarity with relevant PC software and usage including Auto Cad, Revit, Civil 3D Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Document and Materials Controls System (DMCS)
