Job Title: Civil EngineerJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team, primarily focusing on projects related to water and wastewater/sewer treatment plants and utility systems, including new pipes, pump stations, and pipe relocations. The role also involves tasks such as permitting, grant application writing, and construction quality assurance (CQA). After an initial training period, the candidate will engage in client interfacing. Responsibilities + Work on projects associated with water and wastewater/sewer treatment plants. + Design and plan utility systems, including new pipes, pump stations, and pipe relocations. + Handle permitting processes and manage grant application writing. + Ensure construction quality assurance (CQA) standards are met. + Participate in client interfacing after training. Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. + Experience or familiarity with wastewater systems, gained through academic or professional exposure. Additional Skills & Qualifications + EIT certification is preferred. + Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus. + Previous client interfacing experience is beneficial. Work Environment This position is based on-site in Frankfort, KY, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The department comprises approximately 30-40 employees, offering the opportunity to engage in a diverse array of tasks, allowing for skill development across various aspects of civil engineering. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Frankfort, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $31.25/hr.
