Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and will work closely with senior engineers to support various incoming projects. These projects will include commercial, multi-family residential, multi-disciplinary, and retail ventures. Expertise in stormwater design, land development, traffic engineering, and landscape architecture is essential.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with senior engineers on project development and execution.Design and develop site plans, focusing on land and site development, stormwater management, and drainage.Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D for project planning and execution.Prepare detailed engineering designs and layouts.Contribute to grading and site plan development.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Essential Skills

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.0-5 years of experience in civil engineering.Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.Internship experience in a civil engineering role.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

EIT or PE License preferred.Experience in civil design, drainage, and grading.Ability to work on site development and stormwater projects.

Work Environment

Our firm offers an open workspace that encourages interaction among employees. We value feedback from our team and maintain a non-authoritarian management style. New employees are expected to be on-site five days a week initially. The workday runs from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break. This is a Permanent position based out of New Haven, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
