Job Title: Civil Engineer

Job Description

Lead and oversee civil design efforts for assigned projects, ensuring accurate, on-time, and on-budget delivery of design models and construction drawings. Collaborate with customers, contractors, reviewing agencies, engineering personnel, and architects throughout all project phases. Prepare site improvement plans, specifications, drainage reports, and cost estimates for land development, ensuring compliance with customer RFPs and coordination with project managers.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage civil design efforts for projects to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery of design models and construction drawings.Collaborate effectively with customers, contractors, reviewing agencies, engineering personnel, and architects at all stages of the project.Prepare comprehensive site improvement plans, specifications, drainage reports, and cost estimates for land development.Ensure all designs comply with customer RFPs and coordinate efficiently with project managers.

Essential Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.Professional Engineering License.8-15 years of experience in civil design, with leadership or coordination responsibilities preferred.Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Civil Engineering Design software.Proficiency in stormwater modeling software.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Adobe/Bluebeam).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Project experience within Industrial, Manufacturing, Data Centers, Food and Beverage, or Distribution sectors.

Work Environment

Ideally, the position is based out of the Lexington, KY office. Remote work is possible with periodic office visits if within driving distance to Lexington or Atlanta. This position offers a great opportunity to join a well-established civil/construction company.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lexington, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
