Civil Engineer – Hopedale, MA Location: Hopedale, MA Experience Level: Intermediate About the Opportunity We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer with strong experience in site and land development projects to join our team in Hopedale, MA. The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical expertise, design experience, and working knowledge of local regulations, with the ability to independently execute key project tasks. Key Responsibilities + Develop civil engineering plans, designs, and calculations for a variety of site and infrastructure projects + Prepare septic system designs in accordance with local and state requirements + Utilize Carlson software to produce accurate grading, layout, and site design drawings + Support stormwater management, drainage, and land development engineering efforts + Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and regulatory agencies to advance project progress + Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and permitting requirements Required Qualifications + 3+ years of experience in the Civil Engineering field + Strong proficiency with Carlson software + Demonstrated experience with septic design + Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering + Strong understanding of land development, stormwater, and drainage principles + Strong communication, problem-solving, and project coordination skills Preferred Qualifications + EIT certification (Engineer-in-Training) Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hopedale, MA.
