Job Description
We are seeking a Civil Engineer with expertise in land development and site design projects, specializing in stormwater and drainage design. The successful candidate will work closely with senior engineers to support a range of incoming projects, including commercial, multi-family residential, multidisciplinary, and retail projects.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior engineers to support incoming projects.Design and implement stormwater and drainage solutions.Develop site plans for various project types including commercial and residential.Engage in land development activities and traffic engineering.Contribute to landscape architecture projects.Essential Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.Minimum of 3 years of experience in Civil Engineering.Experience in drainage, grading, utilities, and stormwater management/design.Ability to develop comprehensive site plans.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Professional Engineer (PE) license.Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.Work Environment
The work environment includes collaboration with senior engineers using advanced technologies such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D. The role requires attention to detail in various site design projects and offers opportunities to engage in multidisciplinary engineering fields.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plainville, CT.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $65.00/hr.
