Job Title: Civil Engineer Job Description The civil engineer will participate in project meetings, communicating technical information related to their assigned work. They will develop full project, system, or component designs for construction and engineering efforts, coordinating and managing detailed tasks required to deliver engineering services. The role involves preparing scopes of work, cost estimates, and schedules for various assignments, producing comprehensive project documentation and deliverables, and engaging with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders throughout project execution. Responsibilities + Conduct technical evaluations or testing activities and interpret data to support engineering decisions. + Identify issues, evaluate alternatives, and implement solutions to engineering and construction challenges. + Assist with preparing proposals and supporting materials required to pursue new work or project funding. + Work under broad direction while seeking guidance for unique, complex, or conflicting design and technical issues. + Apply foundational civil engineering principles, standards, and methodologies to support construction projects. Essential Skills + Proficiency in civil design, Civil 3D, and transportation design. + Experience using OpenRoads and MicroStation software. + Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. + Minimum of four years of relevant experience. + Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
