We are seeking a motivated **Civil Engineer** to support the planning, design, and construction of impactful infrastructure projects. This role offers hands-on experience, mentorship from licensed professionals, and exposure to a diverse project portfolio that strengthens both technical and leadership skills.
**What You’ll Do**
+ Prepare and review civil engineering designs, plans, and technical specifications
+ Perform site evaluations, feasibility studies, and engineering assessments
+ Develop detailed drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related design software
+ Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination
+ Monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with design intent, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
+ Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance during construction
+ Identify and resolve technical challenges, recommending design improvements when needed
+ Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and fellow engineers to ensure successful project delivery
+ Communicate clearly with clients and stakeholders through reports, presentations, and meetings
+ Support proposal development, including scope definition and hourly estimates
+ Contribute to CADD drafting of civil, mechanical, and plumbing systems
+ Participate in mentoring and training of junior staff
+ Perform field visits to verify installed work and confirm alignment with approved designs
**Regulatory Compliance & Safety**
+ Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations
+ Promote and implement best-practice safety protocols throughout all project phases
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
+ Minimum of three (3) years of relevant civil engineering experience
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D (Revit experience a plus)
+ Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
